This morning I noticed on NPR's pop culture blog that there was some background on Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video. It was inspired by a 1960s Gwen Fosse dance that Beyonce saw on YouTube.
Also, Beyonce's 19 year old choreographer said that he intended for people to watch the video and imitate Beyonce's moves
